If it takes 130 pages to hook me, it’s a no. Most of the way there, the path was muddled with an exorbitant amount of detail & fluff that only made me lose my bearings. And that’s coming from *me*.

I do trust that the last two thirds of this story has more potential, so right now I’m putting it in time out—I’ll pick up where I left off in a couple months. See you then.
