the darkness of infidelity

got tangled in my veins

because of you, I’ll never cheat

I cannot prompt such pain

I wasn’t worth your honesty

you withheld trust, in turn

your deceit will go unlearned

your callous constitution

reminds me to be tender

each compliment you left unsaid

to heal requires strength and time

patience through the mess
